Add Rosie O’Donnell and her daytime talk show to the ever-growing list of rebooted entertainment. Thanks to the coronavirus pandemic the outspoken host revived her popular chat fest March 22 for a one-night-only fundraiser for the Actor’s Fund, a charitable organization that assists performers and behind-the-scenes professionals in the Entertainment Industry.

Embracing social distancing the show was live-streamed online and featured O’Donnell, safe in her garage/craft room, interviewing Broadway celebs, also safe in whatever places they keep their computers or iPhones.

Rosie O’Donnell is bringing her beloved 1990s talk show back to your screens for one night only, to benefit arts and entertainment industry workers who have been financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

The out actress and comedian told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement on Thursday that she would host a one-night revival of “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” this weekend as a fundraiser in support of The Actors Fund and the legion of performing arts and entertainment professionals who have found themselves unemployed indefinitely because of the cancellations and shutdowns caused by the COVID-19 outbreak. The special installment will broadcast live, on YouTube and Broadway.com, and promises a roster of A-lister guests that have pledged to appear – while practicing safe social distancing, of course, via live video from their homes.

Fake Trump shooting video shown at his Miami resort

A fake video of President Donald Trump shooting and stabbing various news outlets, movements, celebrities and politicians he dislikes was played at a pro-Trump conference.

The video was a parody of a scene from the 2014 film “Kingsman: The Secret Service,” with Trump’s face superimposed over the main character as he massacres people inside the “Church of Fake News.” In the video, Trump kills news outlets such as NPR and CNN, movements like Black Lives Matter, politicians like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain and LGBTQ celebrities like Rosie O’Donnell and Kathy Griffin.

“I am saddened to hear about this terrible tragedy. Mental illness is a very serious issue affecting many families. My thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle’s family, her wife and their child,” O’Donnell said in a statement to TMZ.

The trailer for the ABC miniseries When We Rise has been released and it looks epic.

When We Rise is a chronicled re-telling of the LGBTQ rights movement in the United States, beginning with the Stonewall riots in 1969 and up to present day. The miniseries was created for ABC by the director and screenwriter from 2008’s Harvey Milk biopic Milk, Gus Van Sant and Dustin Lance Black, respectively.
