Add Rosie O’Donnell and her daytime talk show to the ever-growing list of rebooted entertainment. Thanks to the coronavirus pandemic the outspoken host revived her popular chat fest March 22 for a one-night-only fundraiser for the Actor’s Fund, a charitable organization that assists performers and behind-the-scenes professionals in the Entertainment Industry.

Embracing social distancing the show was live-streamed online and featured O’Donnell, safe in her garage/craft room, interviewing Broadway celebs, also safe in whatever places they keep their computers or iPhones.

‘Rosie O’Donnell Show’ returns for one-night only special to benefit Actors Fund

Rosie O’Donnell is bringing her beloved 1990s talk show back to your screens for one night only, to benefit arts and entertainment industry workers who have been financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

The out actress and comedian told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement on Thursday that she would host a one-night revival of “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” this weekend as a fundraiser in support of The Actors Fund and the legion of performing arts and entertainment professionals who have found themselves unemployed indefinitely because of the cancellations and shutdowns caused by the COVID-19 outbreak. The special installment will broadcast live, on YouTube and Broadway.com, and promises a roster of A-lister guests that have pledged to appear – while practicing safe social distancing, of course, via live video from their homes.

Barry Manilow opened up about why he chose to spend decades in the closet before coming out in 2017.

Manilow married his high school girlfriend Susan Deixler in 1964. Deixler had the marriage annulled in 1966. He began dating TV executive Garry Kief in 1978 and the couple secretly wed in 2014. However, Manilow didn’t go public with his sexuality until an interview with People in 2017.

Barry Manilow donates piano to Central Florida high school

ORLANDO | Pop music icon Barry Manilow has been writing the songs that make the whole world sing for more than 50 years, but now he wants to make sure future songwriters also get that opportunity? Through his program Manilow Music Project, Manilow donates musical instruments to public schools with depleted music programs.

Manilow, who will be at the Amway Center for a holiday concert Dec. 8, donated a Yamaha piano to Jones High School in Orlando to kick off the school’s new music instrument drive.

Barry Manilow has finally opened up about his famously private life to the media.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 73-year-old singer told host Cameron Mathison that his fans’ reactions to his secret marriage in 2014 to his longtime partner Garry Kief have been welcoming.
