World famous entertainers and LGBTQ community icons Jane Lynch and Cyndi Lauper are developing a new comedy show which Lynch described as “kind of a ‘Golden Girls’ for today.”

The Netflix half-hour comedy will star Lauper and Lynch as well as two more people who have not been cast yet.

Though Netflix has not yet confirmed the show, after receiving an award at the Creative Arts Emmys for her guest role on “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” Lynch told reporters “I pitched a show to Netflix and they bought it. I don’t know if I can even tell you, but it’s with Cyndi Lauper, so there! We’ll see.”

According to a Facebook post, writer and comedian Carol Leifer is also working on the project.

“[It’s] a writer’s dream to work with these two legends,” Leifer wrote. “Can’t wait to see where we land.”
