Police: 2 men injured in anti-gay beating

NEW YORK (AP) | New York City police are searching for a man they say injured two other men in an anti-gay attack in Brooklyn.

WABC-TV reports the attack happened early September 23 in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg section. Authorities say the suspect made anti-gay comments as he approached the men. Police say the suspect punched one man in the face and threw the other victim into a tree.

Both victims were knocked unconscious during the attack. Police say the suspect fled the scene.

One victim suffered a broken shoulder and the other victim sustained a broken finger.
