Matthew Olshefski, aka the Shirtless Violinist, is back with a haunting rendition of the “Stranger Things” theme song.
The cover features Olshefski performing shirtless, as usual, with a dark background and red neon inspired- visuals mimicking the opening credits. At the end, Olshefski is seen holding Christmas lights in a nod to Winona Ryder’s character, Joyce. The lights flicker out and Olshefski seems to disappear into the Upside Down.
Olshefski is known for his violin song covers including “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
“Stranger Things” season two is currently streaming on Netflix.
