Sia released the music video to her new single “The Greatest” Sept. 5, and it is a tribute to the 49 people who lost their lives at Pulse June 12.
The video stars Maddie Ziegler, the 13-year-old dancer who has appeared in Sia’s previous videos for “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart,” performing with 49 other dancers in an old, abadoned building rittled with bullet holes.
The video opens with the phrase #WeAreYourChildren, then cuts to scenes of the 49 children laying on the ground and Ziegler rubbing rainbow colored paint on her face.
