NBA releases new line of rainbow team shirts for Pride Month

orlando magicOrlando – Have you ever wanted to show your gay pride and your love of the Orlando Magic at the same time? Well now, you can.

On June 7, shirt producer Teespring began selling a series of shirts with rainbow-colored logos on them for each of the 30 NBA teams. The line is the result of a collaboration between the NBA, GLSEN, and Teespring. The proceeds from sales of the shirts will be donated to GLSEN.

“We are so thankful for all of the support we receive from all of our fans,” said Joel Glass, chief communications officer for The Orlando Magic. “The Magic is truly committed to creating an inclusive environment in which fans, community partners and employees feel welcome, valued and appreciated.”

The shirts are slate gray and feature the chosen team’s logo in rainbow colors from left to right.

With any luck, having a slightly more fabulous fan base next season could help the Magic make the playoffs for the first time since 2012.
