Tiffany’s new ad campaign features same-sex couple

TiffanyCoWillYouSameSexCoupletiffanysamesexadTiffany & Co. released a new ad campaign called “Will You?” and it is the first-time the company is featuring a gay couple in one of its ad campaigns.

The ad shows the couple sitting on a stoop outside a brownstone, and the two New Yorkers are a real-life couple.

Eric Bourne, who is a dancer, and Thomas Trube, a fashion executive, were photographed by Peter Lindbergh.

The caption next to the photo reads:

“Will you promise to never stop completing my sentences or singing off-key, which I’m afraid you do often? And will you let today be the first sentence of one long story that never, ever ends?”

Lindbergh’s ad features seven scenes of couples, portraying modern-day love in all its forms. The scene with the same-sex couple has received attention on social media and from celebrities.

Miley Cyrus praised Tiffany & Co. on Jan. 10 by posting the ad onto her Instagram account and captioning the photo saying “Thank you Tiffany & Co for being so bad ass!!!! f–kkkkk yasssssss.”

Lindbergh also featured a couple on their wedding day with their child, showing the many different nonlinear paths of love.
