Nike’s Pride line sells out after one week

Portland, Ore. – After only being available for one week, Nike’s popular #BETRUE line celebrating LGBT Pride month sold out of products both on its online stores and in its physical locations. The black men’s T-shirt with #BETRUE in an array of rainbow colors were a hot ticket this year.

The flagship Nike store in Portland, Ore., had sold out of the Free 5.0 shoes within just a few days of the product launch and the Free OG shoes are completely sold out online.

This year Nike increased its depth of product into the marketplace over last year yet is still selling out faster than last year’s line, according to OutSports.com. The proceeds of the sales of the #BETRUE line will be donated (up to $500k) to the LGBT Sports Coalition, which gathered in Portland last weekend.

This year marks the third time Nike has offered the #BETRUE line of products.
