Traffic Jam 2014 at Ember

Girls In Wonderland pulled out all the stops for Traffic Jam, their first major party of Gay Days 2014.

It was June 5 at Ember, and all the party girls’ attire was categorized by color to help other girls know their relationship status. Red means she’s taken, yellow means approach with caution and green means she’s free to flirt.

“It’s all about finding out who’s single for the weekend,” said Yesi Leon, one of the co-founders of Girls in Wonderland.

The stage was filled with go-go girls all night dancing to the beats by DJ Rob, with a special show by Spikey Van Dykey, who took over the go-go dancer stage and excited the crowd with a striptease.

About 500 people packed the dance floor and free shots from Kettle One kept the party going.

This dance party was not only a haven for women eager to have a good time and meet, but also a benefit for the National Center for Lesbian Rights.

2014 the second year Traffic Jam was hosted at Ember.
