Foster, Rice both win St. Pete City Council seats

St. Pete unofficial election results: openly gay City Council candidates Darden Rice and Amy Foster both win their races! This is historic, as now 3 out of 8 city council seats are occupied by openly gay council members.

In addition, (very) LGBT-friendly candidate Rick Kriseman outsted incumben Bill Foster from his role of St. Pete mayor.

These results are pulled from the Pinellas County Elections office, and tallied with all but two precincts reporting.
