Back in October, we told you about Se7enBites owner Trina Gregory-Propst and wife Va Propst announcing their new Italian restaurant, Sette.

At the time no location was “Sette” for the new eatery but that has now changed as Trina and Va announced earlier this month that they will “Sette” up shop at the corner of N. Orange Ave. and Virginia Dr.

Se7enBites owner announces new restaurant in downtown Orlando

You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone in Orlando who didn’t have local eatery Se7enBites at or near the top of their list for the best place to eat in town.

The comfort foods and delicious baked goods make it THE place for breakfast, brunch and lunch; but alas we have been on our own for dinnertime … until now. Well, until next year.

Jason and Joey’s New Year’s Eve meeting has led to their happily ever after on March 3.

You’ve probably seen Jason Lambert and his fiancé, Joey, around town, since both of them are staples in Orlando’s restaurant and bar scene. Jason owns The Hammered Lamb (the moniker is derived from his last name) and they met while Jason was working on building the bar after leaving The Stardust Lounge.

Four LGBTQ Central Florida and Tampa Bay chefs on finding their tribe in the restaurant life

The idiom “love is love” became a rallying cry throughout the LGBTQ community since the Supreme Court made same-sex marriage legal in 2015. But for these four gay and lesbian chefs in Orlando, Tampa and St. Petersburg, food is love.

Most of them grew up cooking at the feet of their families. Jeannie Pierola, chef and owner of the Edison Food + Drink Lab in Tampa, learned from her Spanish and Cuban grandmothers. Top Chef Seattle alum and executive chef at St. Pete boîtes BellaBrava and Stillwaters Tavern, Jeffrey Jew, learned from his father and half-Chinese grandfather.

Se7en Bites opens just in time for Pride Week

ORLANDO – Se7en Bites bake shop is ready to open just in time for Orlando’s Come Out with Pride weekend.

Costumers aren’t the only ones anxious to see the new space open. Trina Gregory-Propst is ready to use the new space she and her wife have created and get back to what she loves most: making people smile.Beginning last year, the bake shop has been completely renovating the 3500-square-foot building located at 617 N. Primrose Drive, including the add-on of an outdoor patio area which adds 730 sq ft of eating space. This is over four times larger than the previous building, though a little less than half of this space has been made in to a complete hot kitchen and complete pastry kitchen – all the better for baking with.
