Comedian Matteo Lane brings his singing stand-up to Tampa

Comedian Matteo Lane wants you to know that he’s gay. It’s something that he shares almost immediately with his audiences, whether they’re laughing with him on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” or logging onto Netflix for “The Comedy Lineup.”

“I walk up and say, ‘Hi, thanks so much, I’m obviously gay,’” he explains, “and then I move on. It’s a real power move, because I know they’re thinking it and I’m proud of it.” It’s a choice that’s served the classically trained opera singer and painter well, leading to captivated crowds for Comedy Central, Logo, HBO and across the world for his live tour.

Chris Pratt responds to Ellen Page accusations via Instagram

“Lego Movie 2” actor Chris Pratt spoke out on Instagram following online accusations from actress Ellen Page, addressing claims that he supports an anti-LGBTQ church.

Pratt had stopped by “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” to discuss his upcoming film. While there, the actor spoke about his spirituality and mentioned his recent biblical-themed diet was inspired by his pastor from Hillsong Church.

Santa is gay and in an interracial relationship in new picture book

Santa Claus will be gay and black in a new children’s book being released this fall.

Harper Design is publishing “Santa”s Husband” by Daniel Kibblesmith, a story about Santa Claus and his same-sex partner who fills in for him at malls, Time reports. The book is written in a similar parody to “Go the F**k to Sleep.” Kibbelsmith is also a staff writer for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and co-author of “How to Win at Everything.”
