Making their Clearwater debut, The Tubes featuring Fee Waybill with special guest John Waite take the stage at the historic Capitol Theatre on Friday, June 3 at 8 pm.

The Tubes (She’s A Beauty, Talk To Ya Later, White Punks On Dope) have always managed to expose, enlighten and entertain audiences worldwide by combining art with trash, comedy with tragedy and innovative rock theater with consummate musicianship. Featuring frontman and original member Fee Waybill, the band is one of the most exciting, in-your-face, tight-knit group of musicians who epitomize the hilarity of popular American culture by making it into the ultimate rock and roll extravaganza.

Singer/songwriter John Waite got his start as the lead singer of The Baby’s whose hits include Isn’t It Time? and Every Time I Think of You. After five albums with The Baby’s, Waite released his first solo album, Ignition, which boasted the hit rock single Change which was soon followed with a number one and what is undeniably one of the all-time greatest pop/rock ballads, Missing You. The song topped the international charts and today remains a radio staple around the globe.

Tickets are $65 & $55. Performance is at the Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St, Downtown Clearwater.
