The “Queer Eye” cast have become a cultural phenomenon for transforming people’s lives but are also known for their close-knit friendship and chemistry as a group. However, Karamo Brown revealed that this wasn’t always the case for him and fellow “Queer Eye” castmate Antoni Porowski.

Brown, who serves as the culture expert on the show, dished to E! News about a time when he and Porowki, who advises in food and wine, had “extreme conflict” during season one of the show.

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) | A woman whose experience of being kicked out of her home as a 16-year-old because she’s a lesbian was highlighted on the Netflix show “Queer Eye” has a fresh shot at college after fans raised enough to pay off her student loans.

The show tells the story of 23-year-old Jess Guilbeaux attempting to put herself through college at the University of Kansas before dropping out due to debt. It led a supporter to set up a GoFundMe last month, with a goal of raising $100,000 to “Send Jess Back to College!” A total of $97,282 has been raised so far.

Dining Out for Life returns to Tampa Bay for 14th year

TAMPA BAY | A record number of restaurants and bars will participate in the 14th annual Dining Out for Life (DOFL) in Tampa Bay on April 11, benefiting Empath Partners in Care (EPIC) in the organization’s fight against HIV/AIDS.

Founded in 1991, DOFL is an annual dining event which raises money for community-based organizations serving those impacted by HIV. To raise the funds, establishments donate at least 25 percent of their sales on a specific date to local organizations like EPIC.

Bobby Berk, Tan France and Antoni Porowski lip-synced to “Work Bitch” by Britney Spears with all three donning some of Spears’ iconic music video looks. Berk was dressed in the red jumpsuit from “Oops..I Did It Again;” France wore the ringmaster outfit from “Circus” and Porowski rocked Spears’ flight attendant outfit from “Toxic.”

“Queer Eye” star Tan France blasted TSA for having him “put through extra security checks 3 times this week” even though he says he has TSA pre-check.

France, who is Pakistani, posted on Twitter that a TSA agent informed him that he kept getting extra security checks because his name “is on a list.”

Skyler Jay, who appeared as the first transgender subject on the Netflix makeover series “Queer Eye,” is suing his employer the University System of Georgia (USG) for its trans-exclusionary health care policy.

USG, which oversees 26 public institutions and is governed by the Georgia Board of Regents, does not offer trans-inclusive healthcare to its employees.
