Bisexuality is often misjudged, sometimes met with responses like “Choose one” or “Stop being greedy”. Relationships are difficult to navigate especially if you have not come to terms with your own sexuality. In this workshop we will discuss the importance of owning your own sexuality, talking to your partner about your sexual preferences and the various types of challenges men and women experience.

About your presenters:

Angelique Luna is a Certified Kink Aware Professional relationship & sex coach, educator, entertainer and sexual abuse advocate. Angelique Luna is the host of Living A Sex-Positive Life podcast with her husband John C Luna where she discusses all aspects and effects of sexual relationships. She is a graduate of the inaugural year of the Kink Aware Therapy Certification Institute.

In his original career, John was an entrepreneur, author, professional educator and software developer. Now he educates others on alternative relationships and human sexuality. He lectures and coaches on non-monogamy, bisexuality, safe sexual practices, BDSM and other relationship & kink related topics.

Today show anchor and her partner give birth

Today show weekend anchor Jenna Wolfe gave birth to a daughter, her first child with girlfriend Stephanie Gosk, on August 21, NBC announced on the Today.com website.

Baby girl Harper Estelle Wolfeld Gosk was born at 7:31 p.m., the network said. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 13 ounces. Gosk is a foreign correspondent with NBC News.

 

Veteran gets OK to be buried with gay partner

BOISE, Idaho (AP) – A U.S. Navy veteran can be buried with the ashes of her late partner in a southwest Idaho military cemetery after the state legalized gay marriage.

“It’s done,” 74-year-old Madelynn Lee Taylor said Oct. 22 after successfully completing paperwork to be buried at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise.

Last weekend I was the MC at my local Pride festivities. It had been a while since I’d done anything Pride-y, so I didn’t know what to expect. Historically, Suburban Pride has been more about strollers and soy frappuccinos than leather chaps and fifteen-dollar beer, like its metropolitan version.

But I didn’t anticipate a moribund party whose biggest draw was a mobile free clinic courtesy of the health department.  As I stood on stage looking out, about to announce a demonstration by an LGBT square dancing club, I wanted to call out, “Is anyone here not a volunteer or vendor?” But that would have been bitchy.
