onePULSE Foundation’s Barbara Poma discusses the future of the Pulse memorial and museum

ORLANDO | The onePULSE foundation announced March 25 that it is launching an international design competition challenging architects from around the world to create a unique and iconic National Pulse Memorial and Museum.

While the look of the final project will be left to the winning design team, the competition does layout three key elements that will be a part of the finished product: a memorial, a museum and pedestrian pathway known as “Survivors Walk.”

Last hospitalized Orlando shooting survivor discharged

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) – Officials at an Orlando, Florida, hospital say the only survivor of the Pulse nightclub massacre who was still hospitalized has been released.

Orlando Health announced on its verified Twitter account Sept. 6, that all 35 victims who had been hospitalized at Orlando Regional Medical Center have now been discharged.

Pulse shooting victim’s condition improves

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) – Officials at Orlando Regional Medical Center say the only survivor of the Pulse massacre who was still in critical condition has seen their condition improve.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that ORMC officials said the unidentified patient’s condition was upgraded Aug. 16 to guarded. Officials did not provide further details.
