Orlando officer who responded to Pulse massacre to get early retirement

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) – A city pension board has granted early-retirement benefits to an Orlando police officer who was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder after he responded to the shooting massacre at Pulse.

The Orlando Police Pension Board granted the benefits to 37-year-old Officer Gerry Realin July 13 after a hearing.

Guy Fieri of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives fame has been in Orlando a lot lately. With the re-launch of the updated Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs featuring Guy’s food and a taping at local eateries, Guy sightings were everywhere, hard to miss that spiked bleach job.

He was recently spotted at the LGBTQ owned Se7enbites; we’re told he was there taping a segment for his show. No word yet as to when the show will appear.

Two arrested in beating of gay man

Orlando – Police have tracked down two suspects and are searching for others after releasing a video of a gay man being beaten by a mob in Parramore.

According to Orlando Police, the victim left his house the evening of March 26 and was walking east when about a dozen black males approached him and several of them started kicking and punching him. Police say the suspects removed the man’s pants and took his wallet and cell phone before running away.
