5 p.m. of Fame
Local Orlando resident Nicholas Clayton is finding social media fame as his tale of getting stuck in a Clearwater gym has gone internet viral.

As he was unwinding at the sauna while listening to music on his headphones, Nicholas came out shortly after 5 p.m. to an empty gym, lights off, doors locked and not one L.A. According to his Facebook page, Nicholas called his mother who laughed off the situation and was able to get assistance from another L.A. Fitness, one that happened to stay open past 5 p.m., which simply told him to exit and that he would be OK. Despite the inconvenience, Nicholas told a Tampa Bay ABC news team his biggest concern was he hasn’t heard from L.A. Fitness, and he was surprised employees didn’t check in to see if there was anyone else remaining in the gym.
