Hamburger Mary’s, known as a bastion for fun and deep-fried debauchery, is an instantly recognizable staple for the LGBT community in cities across the nation. Aside from the two locations in Clearwater and Ybor City, there is now a new location that will be opening up next month in St. Petersburg.

Our House looks to be Sarasota’s first LGBT Center

Sarasota couple Clark West and Elliott Mitchell are spearheading an effort to bring the city its first LGBT community center called Our House.

“It’s taken from the old Crosby, Stills and Nash song of the same name,” Mitchell says. “Our picture for it is that it is exactly what the name says: It is the LGBT community’s house and it would serve a lot of different needs.”

Metro Wellness expanding St. Pete building after location purchase

St. Petersburg, FL — Metro Wellness finalized the purchase of their St. Petersburg clinic and community center and now need the community’s help to make it the Tampa Bay hub for LGBT healthcare.

Metro Chief Executive Officer Lorraine Langlois spoke at an event held at the St. Pete clinic April 28 where she opened up about the legal battle Metro faced which led them to purchase the building.

Hamburger Mary’s to bring Vegas feel and feathers to Daytona

Daytona – The spark is coming back to downtown Daytona, but it isn’t fireworks lighting up this quaint beachfront town. It’s the brand new location of Hamburger Mary’s, the popular franchised burger joint known for hosting killer drag shows. Co-owner of the new location Gary Motes says there will be feathers – lots of feathers – and a Vegas-style cabaret.

With 38 years of restaurant experience under his belt and a love for drag, Motes – partnered with his brother and sister – opened Hamburger Mary’s Jacksonville three years. With the success of the Jax location, the family decided it was time to expand.

Grindr flaw reveals exact locations can endanger users

An anonymous spammer has been sending messages through Grindr by the thousands, warning users that they might be endangering themselves all in name’s sake for a good time.

This unknown person has been warning people of a security flaw that could allow anyone with some computer and programming knowledge to easily trace their exact location. The unknown user has been sending links to a Twitter account, a YouTube video and Pastebin text dump explaining the security flaw, specifically sending the information to users in countries with very stringent anti-gay laws.
