Since the inception of St. Petersburg’s SHINE Mural Festival in 2015, multimedia artist and gallery owner Chad Mize has incorporated a community project into the annual art event.

SHINE transforms the city’s streets by curating large-scale murals painted by renowned artists from across the globe, he says. “We bring international talent to the city to elevate the scene here. It puts us on the map.”

Gay couple announces pregnancy with Lego fairytale

A gay couple announced the upcoming birth of their twin boys via a Lego fairytale short film.

Sean Gannon and Spencer Clinton Parker posted the video on Facebook which shows two princes who are in love but feel something is missing from their lives. The princes go on a journey and encounter a mermaid who has magic beans that can tell them what they need. They come across a dragon, a wizard and finally a brave princess who gives the princes twin Lego babies.
