Latrice Royale dishes on ‘All Stars,’ ‘The Naughty Tour’ and Amendment 4

“It means everything just to feel like a human,” Timothy Wilcots, known worldwide as “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum and “All Stars 4” competitor Latrice Royale, says about the passage of Florida’s Amendment 4. “To feel like my debt is paid. I don’t have this scarlet letter haunting and taunting my life every time an election comes around. Now I can participate!”

While the Florida resident has certainly participated in “Drag Race” – placing fourth and snagging Miss Congeniality in season four, returning for inaugural spin-offs “All Stars” and the “Holi-slay Spectacular” and sashaying through tours like “A Drag Queen Christmas” – Royale’s voting rights were stripped after serving one year in prison until 2007.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ will crown a Christmas queen on holiday special

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” will return to crown the first “Drag Race Christmas Queen” on a special holiday episode, according to Vulture.

Previous contestants from past seasons will come back to battle it out for a mini all-star competition. Returning queens include Kim Chi, Trixie Mattel, Mayhem Miller, Jasmine Masters, Eureka O’Hara, Latrice Royale, Shangela and Sonique.

NEW YORK (AP) | Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, chef and actor David Burtka, fired up what they call New York’s “last summer blowout” — a six-hour, 50-act drag-queen spectacle staged Saturday on a glitzy Manhattan pier.

It was the revival of a 1980s festival called Wigstock — an impromptu creation of unruly patrons in drag who stumbled out of an East Village club at about 2 a.m. to improvise for homeless people in garbage-strewn, rat-infested Tompkins Square Park. It was, of course, free of charge.

Netflix drops trailer for animated drag series ‘Super Drags’

Netflix has dropped the first look at its new drag animated series “Super Drags.”

“During the day, they work in a department store and deal with their uptight bitchy boss. By night, they tighten up their corsets and transform into the baddest SUPER DRAGS in town, ready to combat shade and rescue the world’s glitter from the evil villains. Get ready, because the SUPER DRAGS are going deeper than you think,” the YouTube description reads.

World of Wonder has released the trailer for its animated series “Drag Tots.”

“In a world on the brink of chaos, where fear is the rule of the land, the voices of a generation have banded together to give our planet what it needs,” the narrator says over clips of President Donald Trump, tornadoes and explosions, before unveiling baby drag queens as the answer to the chaos.
