Robin Wright spoke publicly for the first time on her former “House of Cards” co-star Kevin Spacey’s sexual misconduct allegations in an interview with Today.

“I think we were all surprised, of course, and ultimately saddened. We forged ahead and I think we were all thankful that we were able to complete the series as planned,” Wright told Savannah Guthrie. “We were coworkers, really. We never socialized outside of work. Respectful, professional relationship. He was so great with me, he was never disrespectful to me, so that’s my personal experience, that’s the only thing I feel I have the right to talk about.”

Kevin Spacey’s sexual assault case under review by LA prosecutors

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Special Victims Bureau is reviewing a sexual assault allegation against Kevin Spacey.

According to CNN, the LASD reports that the allegations involved an adult male and took place in West Hollywood in 1992. The case has been under review since December 2017.

NEW YORK (AP) — Among the dozens of prominent Americans entangled in sexual-misconduct cases this year are a modest number of men whose accusers are male. For some LGBT civic leaders, dismay over these cases is mixed with relief and even a trace of pride at how they were addressed.

The relief reflects a general sense that media coverage of these cases — notably those involving actor Kevin Spacey, Metropolitan Opera conductor James Levine and former Seattle Mayor Ed Murray — has been mostly fair and responsible, focused on the alleged misconduct rather than on sexual orientation.

‘House of Cards’ extends hiatus with plans to resume production in December

“House of Cards” has been on hiatus since October following multiple sexual misconduct allegations, including on-set, against Kevin Spacey. According to a letter from the series’ producers published in the Hollywood Reporter, the hiatus has been extended.

MCR and Netflix suspended production of the series amid concerns from the cast and crew about the allegations surrounding Spacey. In a letter from Pauline Micelli, MRC’s Senior VP of TV Business and Legal Affairs, Micelli explained that the crew would be put on an extended, paid two-week hiatus. Production is expected to resume on Dec. 8. However, “a small contingency of office/accounting staff who will remain in the production office on a continuous basis.”
