Jeffrey Tambor has addressed the sexual harassment allegations against him for the first time since his firing from Amazon’s “Transparent.”

Van Barnes, a transgender actress and Tambor’s former assistant, accused Tambor of sexual misconduct in November. Transgender actress Trace Lysette, who appeared on “Transparent,” also accused Tambor of making “many sexual advances and comments” on set.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — A transgender actress who accused “Transparent” star Jeffrey Tambor of sexual misconduct says she’s grateful for the support she’s received and hopes the show is able to continue without the Emmy-winning star.

Trace Lysette is one of two women who came forward last year and accused Tambor of sexual harassment. Tambor has denied the allegations.

“Transparent” writers are considering writing its star Jeffrey Tambor out of season five in the wake of Amazon’s investigation into a sexual misconduct allegation against Tambor.

Deadline reports that series creator Jill Soloway and the “Transparent” writing team are looking at options to write Maura Pfefferman (Tambor) off the show. Writers are also debating changing the title of the show.

The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were unveiled Thursday morning with both “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “Feud: Bette and Joan” earning nominations.

“Westworld” and “Saturday Night Live” received the most with 22 nominations each. “Feud: Bette and Joan” received a nomination for Best Limited Series and “RuPaul’s Drag Race” is a contender for Best Reality Competition Program. RuPaul is up for Best Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program.

Cast of ‘Transparent’ releases PSA to support Gavin Grimm

The ACLU and the cast of “Transparent” have partnered together for a PSA in support of Gavin Grimm and for the inclusion of transgender rights in Title IX, which prohibits sex discrimination.

Although Grimm’s lawsuit against Gloucester High School’s school board over their refusal to allow him to use the boys’ restroom was sent back to the federal appeals court, the ACLU is encouraging people to continue to support transgender individuals.

A number of people may love the espionage thriller The Accountant; that number doesn’t include me.

In fact, it’d be zero stars, if not for the acting and actions sequences. How does Hollywood turn out something this stupid and offensive?

Thrillers like this are all about the plot. Great acting – and this flawed Accountant has it – can add a lot. However, a hideously damaged premise and some fairly noticeable plot holes are major subtractions.

Saturday Night Live‘s Kate McKinnon and The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story‘s Sarah Paulson took home their first Emmy trophy after multiple nominations at the 2016 Emmy Awards Sept. 18.

Paulson, who was also nominated for her supporting role in American Horror Story: Hotel, represented one of five of the Emmy trophies taken home by the Ryan Murphy miniseries The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
