Van Ness shared the news by quoting Ariana Grande’s break up anthem “thank u, next.”

“Queer Eye” star Tan France blasted TSA for having him “put through extra security checks 3 times this week” even though he says he has TSA pre-check.

France, who is Pakistani, posted on Twitter that a TSA agent informed him that he kept getting extra security checks because his name “is on a list.”

Angela Ponce becomes first transgender contestant in Miss Universe

Angela Ponce made history as the first transgender contestant to compete in Miss Universe during the 2019 competition.

Ponce, 27, represented Spain in the Miss Universe competition, which took place in Bangkok, Thailand and aired live on Dec. 16. The competition featured women representing 94 nations around the world.

Stormy Daniels cancels strip club appearance over homophobic slur

Stormy Daniels canceled her scheduled appearance at Goldfinger, a strip club in Sunrise, Fla., because she claims the club owner used a homophobic slur against her assistant.

Daniels took to Instagram to call out the club owner for using the slur and alleges he also asked Daniels to “do something not in my contract.”

Milo Yiannopoulos banned from Patreon after one day

Milo Yiannopoulos attempted to make a “magnificent 2019 comeback,” funded by the public, but his efforts were shut down in one day.

The former Breitbart editor has faced challenges continuing to be relevant in the public eye after a string of scandals. Yiannopoulos was booted from Twitter for harassing comedian Leslie Jones and was forced to step down from his position at Breitbart after old comments which appeared to support pedophilia resurfaced. Things seemed to be turning around for Yiannopolous as he got married in Hawaii and got a job as a columnist for the Daily Caller. However, after one day the column was canceled because Yiannopolous made claims without evidence such as citing that straight people are more likely to be fired for their sexuality than LGBT people.

Kevin Hart steps down from hosting Oscars after backlash over homophobic tweets

Comedian Kevin Hart announced on Twitter Dec. 6 that he is stepping down as Oscar host.  Hart made the announcement after a series of homophobic tweets were discovered on his account.

The tweets, which were posted from 2009 through 2011, feature anti-LGBTQ slurs and homophobic terminology. In a since deleted tweet from 2010, Hart says someone’s profile pic looks “like a gay bill board for AIDS.” In another deleted tweet from 2009, he referred to a user as a “fat faced fag.”

Actor Taron Egerton clarifies his sexuality

Actor Taron Egerton clarified his sexuality in an interview with Radio Times after speculation swirled that he had come out.

Egerton, who appears as Elton John in the upcoming biopic “Rocketman,” had posted a photo of a man on his Instagram captioned “Cutie. My boy.” One user asked if this means Egerton had a boyfriend and Egerton liked the comment.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” queens Peppermint and Jiggly Caliente made a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live” Nov. 17 in a filmed skit advertising the new “GP Yass!” navigation system.

The video starts out with “SNL” cast member Heidi Gardner and guest host Steve Carell getting their trip mapped out on their vehicle’s ordinary GPS. After Carell comments on the GPS’s monotone voice,  Gardner offers to switch modes to the Drag Entertainer setting.
