PHOTOS: Tampa Bay celebrates with the Diamonds in Diversity Awards

The Tampa Bay Diversity Chamber of Commerce held its annual “Diamonds in Diversity” ceremony on Feb. 3 at the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel, and Watermark was on hand to help celebrate.

The event was hosted by Daytime on NBC’s Cyndi Edwards and Jerry Penocoli and featured entertainment from Josh Walther and The Phase 5 Band. It began with dinner, ended with dancing, and according to the chamber’s Facebook page, $7,850 was raised for the Diamond Scholarship Foundation during the evening’s silent and live auctions.

Adam Lambert joins the cast of FOX’s “Rocky Horror” remake

Fresh off being named the biggest 2015 moneymaker of all the American Idol alumni and getting a spot in the Universal Studio’s Mardi Gras concert series, Adam Lambert has signed onto FOX’s Rocky Horror Picture Show remake.

“I grew up watching Rocky Horror, but could never imagine that I would be part of this new vision. Rocky Horror always made me feel like it was okay to celebrate my weirdness. Hallelujah, bless my soul! I love that old time rock-n-roll,” Lambert said, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Cardboard Art Festival 2015

For 2015, the Daily City’s Third Annual Cardboard Art Festival moved from the Mills 50 neighborhood to a storefront hosted by the SoDo shopping center – bringing a opening night DJ, sculptures, paintings and moving installations.

Watermark attended the July 23 media preview. For the rest of the weekend, the gallery showed the work of 22 artists, hosted children’s events, and members of the SAK Comedy Lab performed a sketch show.
