Ryan Murphy unveiled that the ninth season of “American Horror Story” will be titled “1984” in an Instagram post April 10.

Murphy posted a teaser video that shows a woman being chased by a killer through the woods in what appears to be a homage to 1980s slasher films. The woman runs into a cabin and leans against the door to hide but the killer strikes the cabin door with his knife.

The Olympic freeskier rescued Beemo from a meat farm in February. Kenworthy shared that Beemo’s death was caused by a birth defect.

Olympic freeskier Gus Kenworthy will attend the Democratic National Committee’s 19th annual LGBTQ gala as a special guest on June 25 in New York City.

“I couldn’t be more excited to join the DNC at their LGBTQ Gala this Pride season,” Kenworthy said in a statement. “Over the last year, the Trump-Pence administration has pushed our community to the sidelines, attacking us for who we are and who we love. It’s time we take a stand against this administration by electing representatives this upcoming November who actively support and believe in equality for everyone.”

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump welcomed Team USA Olympic athletes to the White House on Friday, congratulating them on representing the U.S. at the 2018 winter games.

“You made us very proud,” Trump said to the rows of young men and women standing on the White House’s north portico in matching windbreakers. “You overcame setbacks, you powered through obstacles. And I will tell you this, because of your hard work and your sacrifice, you were given the greatest honor in sports: to represent the United States as an Olympic athlete.”

So it was no surprise when two openly gay United States athletes, figure skater Adam Rippon and skier Gus Kenworthy, made headlines right at the start of the games with an Instagram photo of them embracing at the opening ceremonies with a caption that included, “Eat your heart out, Pence.”

Gus Kenworthy gave Instagram a look at just how physically taxing the Winter Olympics can be with a photo of his gigantic bruise.

Kenworthy, 26, posted a photo that displays the bruise, called a hematoma, which appears to travel from his waist down his hip. He explained that the bruise was a result of falling so many times during practice.
