ST. PETERSBURG | G St Pete shared Aug. 19 that they will close Aug. 24, just three weeks after celebrating their one-year anniversary.

“We are sad to announce that this coming weekend at G. St. Pete will be our final weekend,” they advised via social media. “We love St. Pete but just couldn’t make it work in our location.”

G St Pete announces grand opening in St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG | The Florida Entertainment Group has announced that G St Pete will open its doors in downtown St. Petersburg Aug. 4.

“We’ve wanted to be a part of the St. Pete community for a long time and the opportunity finally presented itself with the right venue and location,” co-owner Ernie Webb tells Watermark. “We’re really excited to be a part of the community there.”

Shrine to tolerance: An altercation in Ybor City turns from discrimination to compassion

TAMPA – The Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Noble Mystic Shrine, better known as the Shriners, invaded the streets of Tampa for their annual Imperial Session conference Aug. 15-18, during which time an incident of discrimination turned into a declaration of LGBT support.

Mathieu Stanoch, the visual director at Honey Pot and president of Ybor’s Historic Holiday Spirit, was shopping at the local 7-11 on 7th Ave. in Ybor Aug. 15 when a man in a Shriners shirt came into the store.
