Searching for an extra helping of art in your life? This monthly teen program focuses on careers in the humanities, current exhibitions at the OMA and supporting creative curiosity. Each month will include a studio activity that relates to our topic of interest. Come prepared for an afternoon of casual conversation and artistic experimentation. Our season will conclude with a teen-curated exhibition of artwork created within the program.

For high school students.

After visiting the galleries to discuss the work of Matthew Capaldo, we will discuss narrative techniques within visual art. Our studio session will include writing exercises and the creation of collaged, layered works to tell a story. From these works, we will curate an exhibition that investigates the collective interaction of each artwork’s unique narrative element.
