A video of LaPorte High School student Jordan Steffy fighting a bully who called him a faggot has gone viral.

In the video, posted to Twitter, Steffy is seen hitting another student after the unnamed boy gets into Steffy’s face and calls him a faggot.

Cynthia Nixon blasts Cuomo as ‘bully,’ ‘wannabe Republican’

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Actress Cynthia Nixon blasted Gov. Andrew Cuomo as a “bully” and a “wannabe Republican” Monday during her first visit to Albany since announcing her bid for New York governor.

The “Sex and the City” star and public education advocate criticized the two-term governor for not doing enough to ensure equal opportunities for poor and minority students. She also faulted Cuomo’s effort to combat government corruption and said that while he touts himself as a progressive, he’s governed as a member of what she called Albany’s “old boys’ club.”

Bijou Phillips apologizes for gay-shaming Daniel Franzese on set of ‘Bully’

Franzese, also known for his roles on “Mean Girls” and “Looking,” accused Phillips of being homophobic and fat-shaming him on the set of the 2001 film “Bully.”

Uprisings: No apologies

By now, we’ve all had a few weeks to breathe in the post-traumatic, post-Trumpian world of Tweets and nonsense. By now we’ve survived our Thanksgiving skirmishes with chest-puffed grumpy uncles and the general racists and horror shows of our particular broods. By now, we’ve even danced around the daisies of Green Party hopeful Jill Stein and her swing-state strategy of proving nothing in a recount that is not meant to benefit former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, but rather to flex her own nascent political muscle one last time. By now, we’re aware of the hell we’re facing.

There isn’t nearly enough sugar – outside of Big Sugar – to coat the results of the Nov. 8 general election and its subsequent horror of errors. In just a week or so, the Electoral College will cast the final stone, leaving us swirling in a vacuum of idiocy, most of which will be stuffed with as much acrimony as a fraudulent billionaire can afford. Donald Trump got his wish: he is king of the mountain; it’s all on him.

Community foundation for gay causes opens in South Florida

Fort Lauderdale – Finally, South Florida’s transgender youths bullied at school will have better resources. Same-sex couples sidelined at an assisted living center can get help. Hispanic people living with HIV/AIDS can get educated about the disease and artists focusing on LGBT themes will have an advocate helping them display their work.

This is all thanks to Fort Lauderdale accountant Anthony Timiraos, who is working with nonprofits to meet the increasing demand for their services.
