Ah, Halloween. That time of year when you get to dress up, pretend to be someone else for a night and beg strangers for candy if you’re a kid, or for a drink if you’re an adult.

I must admit, I’m not a huge fan of Halloween. I’m one of those people who most others complain about because while everyone is deciding what nine costumes they are going to wear to each party they are attending, I’m the guy walking up and down the Christmas aisle figuring out what colors and pattern my tree will be this year.

‘Batwoman’ TV series with lesbian lead in the works at CW

“Batwoman” is being developed into a TV series for consideration at CW with a lesbian superhero lead, according to Deadline.

Out showrunner Greg Berlanti, known for the CW’s Arrowverse, and executive producer Caroline Dries (“The Vampire Diaries”), who is an out lesbian, are working on a series launch set for 2019.

Many people find the idea of award shows ridiculous. They look at it as a self-serving pat-on-the-back and congratulations generally bestowed in industries viewed as overpaid and as jobs that are easy to do.

I love them though, especially the Oscars. The first time I ever sat down to watch the Oscars, officially called “The Academy Awards,” was when I was 10 years old. It was 1990 and I was watching Saturday morning cartoons when a commercial advertising the Oscar telecast came on.

‘Justice League’ gets gay porn parody

“Justice League” may be a box office failure, but its legacy could live on in a gay porn parody.

Men.com released a safe for work trailer for “Justice League: A Gay XXX Parody” which features “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum Manila Luzon as Wonder Woman, Colby Keller as Green Lantern, Brandon Cody as Superman, Ryan Bones as Batman, Manuel Skye as Alfred, Francois Sagat as Aquaman and Johnny Rapid as The Flash.

‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ accused of ‘pro-gay propaganda’

“The LEGO Batman Movie” is being accused of “pro-gay propaganda” by right-wing Christian bloggers.

In the film, Bruce Wayne adopts Dick Grayson, who becomes Robin. Dick seems to believe that he has been adopted by two dads because he doesn’t know that Bruce Wayne and Batman are the same person. Eventually, it’s revealed Dick knew Batman’s true identity all along but for some Christian writers, the joke was all part of a pro-gay agenda.
