“We’re still trying to come up with a narrative for what happened,” says CIA director Scott Shepherd in the super-soldier franchise’s fifth flimsy but fun film, Jason Bourne.

Wow… Screenwriters should know better than to script lines like that. Are they just waiting for critics to call them out?

Screened Out – Terminator Genisys

The 2009 film Terminator Salvation – besides being robotic – got flak from fans for not having Schwarzenegger revive his famous role. Genisys clearly shows why that was actually a good decision.

Other than that, the promise that the Terminator series has made in the three films since 1991’s Terminator II: Judgment Day is that it’s going to get stupider, more convoluted, and less entertaining. This is a cash-grab franchise that won’t die, one that keeps its commitment of diminished return.

Facebook puts 26 million profiles somewhere under the rainbow

Facebook has been taken over by a Care Bear stare as millions of profile pictures were veiled in the colors of the rainbow.

The program, which was created by two interns at Facebook in honor of LGBT Pride month, spread like wildfire after the Supreme Court released the ruling that same-sex marriage was legalized nationwide.
