Orlando musician Craymo wins World Wide Music Contest with anti-bullying song

ORLANDO – Craymo, an inspirational LGBTQ singer/songwriter from Orlando, was the winner of Best Song in the third edition World Wide Music Contest. He was one of over 1200 entries in the contest.

Craymo won Best Song for his anti-bullying anthem, “Be Myself,” according to a press release Nov. 19.

GLSEN kicks off new school year with a new fundraiser

GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network) is an organization that focuses on safe schools for all students regardless of gender identity.

Zebra Coalition partners with Orange schools for anti-bullying education

ZebraBully1Orlando – The Zebra Coalition is teaming up with 102 Orange County schools to fight bullying.

Zebra is a Central Florida-based network of organizations that supports LGBT youth, and they announce Oct. 23 that they’ll work through Student Assistance and Family Empowerment (SAFE) on an anti-bullying campaign for middle, high and charter schools within the district beginning in the 2013-2014 school year.
