Lionsgate is promoting “Jigsaw,” the latest installment in the “Saw” franchise, while rebelling against blood donation restrictions against gay and bisexual men.

In the “All Types Welcome” campaign, LGBT social media stars such as Amanda Lepore, Nyakim Gatwech, Mykie and Shaun Ross appear as creepy nurses ready to collect blood donations.

Volvo features a gay couple in its new commercial for its XC60 model.

The commercial shows the car taking on city streets and hilly paths as people live their lives alone and with their significant others. One such couple are two men who appear only briefly. The couple can be seen lovingly pressing their foreheads together towards the end of the commercial.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – A group supporting gay marriage in Ohio is airing its first television ad as a federal appeals court prepares to hear oral arguments on the issue.

The ad from the Why Marriage Matters Ohio campaign features a gay couple from the state who married last October in New York after 50 years together. The two men discuss their long-term relationship in the 30-second spot released July 30.

Allstate’s new ad says LGBTs are safe in their hands

It seems Allstate is following suit like many other companies (i.e. like Honey Maid) with releasing an LGBT-inclusive ad campaign. The commercial titled “Safe In My Hands” was released as part of Allstate’s 2014 #OutHoldingHands Pride Month initiative.

The ad uses a unique analogy between being gay and the main guy character having an oversized hand which makes him stand out and disliked by other because he is different. The ad uses the song by Eli Lieb — “Safe In My Hands,” like the name of the commercial — as the soundtrack of the man’s struggle to hide being different.
