Lady Gaga surprised fans who attended her “Enigma” show at the Park Theater in Las Vegas on Saturday night with a special performance with her “A Star is Born” co-star, Bradley Cooper.

Cooper was in attendance at the show when Gaga announced she was bringing him on stage to sing her finale song.

‘The Favourite’ leads LGBT-inclusive Oscar noms

The 91st Academy Awards announced the nominees for its class of 2019 with “The Favourite” and “Roma” tying for the most recognition with 10 nominations each.

“The Favourite” earned nominations for its three lead actresses with Olivia Colman scoring a Best Actress nomination for portraying Queen Anne and Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz receiving Best Supporting Actress nominations.

Lady Gaga, Janelle Monae, St. Vincent among performers to earn Grammy nominations

The 61st Grammy Award nominations were announced Dec. 7, and the big winners are music in the movies as the soundtracks for “Black Panther” and “A Star is Born” received eight and four nominations, respectively.

Janelle Monae, who came out as pansexual earlier this year, picked up a pair of Grammy nominations; one in the Album of the Year category for “Dirty Computer” and another for best music video, “Pynk.”

Lady Gaga wows despite uneven script in ‘A Star is Born’

When the music is playing, the latest version of “A Star Is Born” soars. When the characters are performing, improvising, rehearsing or writing songs, the movie (which opens wide Friday) crackles with electricity. But all too often, when the music stops, the movie sags until someone picks up a guitar again.

This is the fourth Hollywood version of the classic showbiz story of mismatched lovers and misaligned careers. In the 1937 version, Norman Maine (Fredric March) is the Hollywood leading man who gets North Dakota farmgirl Esther Blodgett (Janet Gaynor) her first audition and a new name: Vicki Lester. They make a movie and get married, she wins an Oscar, he drinks and commits suicide after his career collapses, and the grief-stricken widow famously proclaims to her fans, “This is Mrs. Norman Maine.”

Lady Gaga to channel Barbra Streisand in ‘A Star is Born’ remake

Warner Bros announced Aug. 16 that the film will mark the singer-actress’ first leading role in a movie and the directorial debut of the American Sniper actor-producer. Gaga will compose and perform new songs for the musical drama.
