I am not affiliated with ANY CHURCH OR ORGANIZATION . I AM A PERSON WHO READS AND BELIEVES EXACTLY WHAT JESUS SAYS . TOO BAD YOU DONT. HE SAID TO MAKE YOUR LIFE STRAIGHT BEFORE HIM , HE WILL RETURN JUST LIKE HE SAID. THIS MINISTRY IS NOT GEARED TOWARDS THE HOMOSEXUAL , SO COME OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE .YOU HOMOSEXUALS ARE LIKE A CHILD WHO STEALS FROM HIS MOTHERS POCKETBOK AND THEN SAYS - I DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG. YOU LIE AND DO NOT HAVE THE TRUTH IN YOU . IF YOU REALLY LOVED AND KNEW THE REAL JESUS , YOU WOULD NEVER LIVE THAT WAY .YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THE FREA OF THE LORD. WHY ARE THEY SO SPECIAL? IT IS GEARED TOWARD ANYONE WHO IS WISE ENOUGH TO TAKE GOD SERIOSLY AND REPENT OF THIER SINS.I BELIEVE IN GAY RIGHTS -THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO REPENT OR PERISH JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE. Wow! IF YOU WHERE TRULEY a "human being" following the word of "GOD" You'd know from the beginning he preaches LOVE NOT HATE!! Go re-read your book and learn to practice what you preach. The ONLY references to homosexuality is in the OLD testament which btw, had to be re-written because it was obviously wrong. So, before you preach ignorance, gain a few braincells and maybe you'd be somewhat intelligent. You also say that we go as far as trying to force marriage and stuff on you, well what are you doing? You hypocritical peice of trash!!!!

Wow. Who knew one person was so filled with such hate & ignorance... @John, take a gander at a little movie called "Fish Out of Water." It is a documentary compiled of EDUCATED pastors & priests explaining that Jesus, himself NEVER said anything about homosexuality in the Bible. If anything he can be interpreted is that he generally sided himself with those who were marginalized; the lepers, the sick, the prostitutes, & the elderly. German philosopher, Arthur Schopenhauer said "Truth passes through 3 stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Then, third, is accepted as being self-evident." I don't know what God you represent, but my God is love & he created me in His own image. May MY God give you peace & remove the hate in your heart.

John, I would like to offer the observation that not every Christian agrees with your perspective. I am a heterosexual, married (with 7 children), ordained minister with a Master of Divinity degree from Emory University. I have studied the bible in depth and believe it to be foundational to my faith, my church, my congregation, and to my family. But I disagree as to the trajectory it offers with repsect to homosexuality.
I wonder if you realize that during the time frame it was written humans didn't know how the reproduction process worked, how disease spread, how electricity worked, had very little understanding of genetics and the far-reaching effects of DNA; so there is little hope they would have understood sexual orientation.
I also wonder if you've ever really heard the message I hear in its pages; that NO sin is too great to hinder grace, and that God loves each of us!
How do you reconcile God's love with the message of condemnation you are spewing? I would simply ask you, "how would my daughter's life-long commitment to loving and caring for another woman DIS-honor God?"
I just need you to hear that your perspective is your own--please don't pass it off as purely "Christian!!" Because it is WAY out of sync with the Christianity I was born and raised, and now serve, in. Your words do not reflect the message of salvation from my Christ!

Perfectly put, PastorGayle. It's a shame that so many "Christians" express so much hate. It gives every Christian a bad name. And Erik, i think you're right. I don't ever remember Jesus speaking about homosexuality in any context.
I also like how "John" Says the ministry is not geared toward the gay community...when the picture shows a sign that he put up attacking gays. It's nauseating, really.
