Netflix has released a new trailer for its remake of Armistead Maupin’s “Tales of the City.”
In the trailer, Mary Ann Singleton (Laura Linney) ventures back to 28 Barnaby Lane in San Francisco where she reconnects with her daughter Shawna (Ellen Page) and ex-husband Brian (Paul Gross).
The newly released clips show Shawna falling into a romance with a character played by Zosia Mamet (“Girls”).
Murray Bartlett, Bob the Drag Queen, Molly Ringwald and Daniela Vega will also star.
Original cast members Olympia Dukakis, who portrayed Mary Anne’s landlady Anna Madrigal, and Barbara Garrick, who played lesbian socialite DeDe Halcyon Day, will return.
“Tales of the City” begins streaming on June 7.
