Remember being told to avoid strangers in sketchy vans offering free candy? Well, screw that and get in the van.
“PeeVira’s SCAREavan Sing-along: Disney AdDICKtion” is a karaoke adventure filled with Disney tunes and references. Madame PeeVira grips her glittery microphone and lip-syncs to hits from “Tarzan,” “Hercules,” “Lion King” and more. With a bat of her incredibly long eyelashes, you’ll be belting out nostalgic noise with a few other strangers during this eccentric experience.
Madame PeeVira, affectionately known as The Fringy Mime Queen, is the brainchild of Pee-wee Herman and Elvira. For this year’s “Disney AdDICKtion,” she transformed into a mixture of Maleficent, Cruella de Vil and Minnie Mouse. Though Madame PeeVira combines drag and pantomime, she’ll let a dick joke slip if the time is right.
Don’t worry if you barely know any Disney songs. The 30-minute show also features several zany games that involve trivia, dress up and a sexy pin the tail on the donkey spoof. Winners of the game actually do get free candy, but it might be thrown at you.
The van didn’t venture around the parking lot as it did in previous years, but it did jerk forward a few inches every now and then.
“PeeVira’s SCAREavan Sing-along: Disney AdDICKtion” is the definition of interactive. It’s hilariously raunchy and one of a kind.
