EQFL Action PAC goes 25 of 30 in state primary endorsements

Equality Florida Action PAC had a great night with 25 of their 30 endorsed candidates winning their primary races in the state Aug. 30.

Equality Florida’s endorsements included seven openly LGBT candidates, 4 went on to win their races; Beth Turra for House District 47, Ken Keechl for House District 93, David Richardson for House District 113 and Dr. Matt Stewart was elected to the Pinellas County School Board.

With her victory, Turra became the first lesbian in Florida history to win a competitive primary for state representative.
