Caitlyn Jenner, who revealed she was transitioning to be a woman on the cover of Vanity Fair in June, asked a judge to formally change her gender to female and legal name to Caitlyn on Sept. 15, TMZ reports.

However, not everyone has been supportive of Caitlyn’s transition, and some may even be trying to hurt her. Caitlyn is asking L.A. County Superior Court to keep her private information sealed, due to threats of physical harm.

Sources told TMZ that she fears that if she has to reveal her medical records, the threats will worsen.

In the declaration filed, she said she has received a lot of support, but not from everyone, and there are those who are unhappy enough to potentially harm her, the report says.
