It’s that time of year when you get to dust off your costumes, load up on sweets and have loads of scary fun — Halloween! Not sure exactly how to spend your Halloween, or do you want to find out about other festivities happening toward the end of the month? Well, Watermark has you covered.

Here is a roundup of some events happening throughout Central Florida, Tampa Bay and Sarasota where you can get into the Halloween spirit!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Oct. 17, 24 & 31, 7 p.m.

The Abbey
Give yourself over to absolute pleasure and do the time warp again as The Abbey brings The Rocky Horror Picture Show to Downtown Orlando with host Logan Donahoo. General admission tickets are $20 and VIP tickets are $35.

Orlando Zombie Ball, Oct. 22, 8 p.m.
Firestone Live
Come out for a night of jams, a performance by Phantasmagoria and a costume contest with a $1,000 first prize. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. You must be 21 and older to attend this event.

Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend Oct. 24-26
Hilton Double Tree at Universal
Meet some of your favorite horror stars from popular shows like the Walking Dead and Grimm at one of the largest horror conventions in the nation. Stars of horror classics like Chucky and Halloween will also be in attendance.

Spooktacular, Oct. 25, 5 p.m.
Downtown Avalon Park
Come out as Avalon Park celebrates Halloween with a costume parade, trick-or-treating and a haunted house. It’s fun for the whole family! Free event.

Terror on Thorton Park, Oct. 25, 9 p.m.
Washington Street
Join the Thorton Park District for a night of “grown-up” fun at the Halloween block party on Oct. 25 from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m. Enjoy a costume contest, cash prizes, classic horror films, DJ Smilin’ Dan, drinks, dancing and some scary surprises. The event is 21+ only.

The Rocky Horror Show Live and On-Stage, Oct. 25, 8 p.m. & 12 a.m.
Sleuths Mystery Dinner Theatre
The Rocky Horror Show features a cast of award-winning local actors from across Central Florida. The $20 admission price includes a “participation bag” with everything an audience member needs to interact with the show in the same way audience members have become accustomed to interacting with the film version.

Halloween at Parliament House, Oct. 25 & 31, 8 p.m
The Parliament House
Get freaky at one of the best Halloween parties in Orlando. This year Parliament House is offering $6,000 in cash prizes for their costume contest. Tickets are $10.

Bloodbath 7, Oct. 29, 9.p.m.
Come wearing white and prepare to get bloody. Drink specials and performances all night long are sure to keep things frighteningly entertaining until a new moon rises.

Carlos Mencia’s Halloween Extravaganza, Oct. 31, 8 p.m.
Orlando Improv
Lift your spirits and dress in your Halloween best. Creative costumes are strongly encouraged. At this party you will laugh so hard you might even wake the dead!

Barcodes Orlando Halloween Party, Oct. 31
This is going to be one “hell” of a Halloween party! There will be hourly prize drawings all night long, including a $500 gift card and a Budweiser bicycle. Join Barcodes for a fiendishly good time!

14th Annual Church Street Halloween Party, Oct. 31, 8 p.m.
Church Street
Visit Orlando’s biggest Halloween street party with five bars open for you to imbibe in all the spirits you crave. There is also a costume contest with a $3000 cash prize.

Halloween Torture Show, Oct. 31, 9:30 p.m.
SAK Comedy Lab
The improvisers get tortured for your laughs, as this special event brings together a combination of improv and torture for your entertainment. There will also be a costume contest, where the top three best dressed win free passes to SAK Comedy Lab and a free trip to the bar.9:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 for Florida residents and $15 for general admission.

Halloween Horror Story, Oct. 31 9 p.m.
Southern Nights
Flex Fridays at Southern Nights presents their Halloween party with a $1,000 prize for the best costume. DJ ANTS will be spinning in the main room, and there will be two drag shows at 11 p.m. 12:30 a.m.

Jekyll & Hyde The Musical, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 2 at 2 p.m.
Osceola Center for the Arts
A musical tale of the epic battle between good and evil, which is based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic story about a brilliant doctor whose experiments with human personality create a murderous counterpart. Regular tickets are $22, student tickets are $15 and senior tickets are $19.

Day of the Dead, Nov. 1 9 p.m.
Pulse Orlando
Come celebrate “Dia de Los Muertos” with Pulse, where they pay respect to the Mexican holiday. There will be the hottest Latin music in Orlando, and special guest performances by Armani & Selena.


Guavaween, Oct. 25, 6 p.m.
Cuban Club
The annual Guavaween carnival has five themed areas, including a street festival, theater shows, a dance club, a lounge, live concerts and a $1,000 costume contest. Tickets are $18-$30 for general admission and $80-$125 for VIP.

Georgie’s Alibi’s 15th Annual Halloween Bash, Oct. 30 & 31
Georgie’s Alibi (St. Petersburg)
All the boys and ghouls know that Georgie’s Alibi has one of the most famous Halloween parties in Central Florida. This year the eerie event is hosted by Kori Stevens with costume contests both nights.

Flamingo Halloween Party, Oct. 31 & Nov.1
Flamingo Resort is hosting one of the biggest Halloween bashes in St. Petersburg this year with everything from a costume contest to sexy vampire dancers and a drag show at 11 p.m. Be sure to also check out their scary shot specials all night long.

Raven Live, Oct. 24, 9 p.m. with shows at 12 a.m. and 1 a.m.
Throb Nightclub
RuPaul’s Drag Race superstar Raven invades Sarasota for Throb Nightclub’s Factory Fridays Halloween series. Throb will welcome her in style so party the night away with DJ Ronny B and DJ Greg Anderson and indulge in some haunting drink specials all night long.

Special K Halloween party, Oct. 31, 10 p.m.
Ivory Lounge and Edge Productions presents the Special K Halloween party. Residents DJs KiKo and Kensi will rock the house and raise the dead all night long. VIP reservations are available.

Fright Factory Oct. 31, 9 p.m.
Throb Nightclub
The largest Halloween party in Sarasota featuring a costume contest with $1000 in cash and prizes for first, second and third place. Plus experience a scary amount of interactive nightmares throughout the factory.
