St. Petersburg | A man was found dead inside his room at the Flamingo Resort Jan. 21 when a staffer stepped into the room to clean it.
According to Mike Puetz, a media relations officer with the St. Petersburg Police, the unidentified man died as a result of natural causes.
“There was no indication of any kind of violence,” Puetz told Watermark. “There was a medical episode of some sort.”
The man, 57, who police have not identified pending notification of next-of-kin, was visiting from Tallahassee. Resort management was not available when Watermark reached out earlier today. Once more information is known, it will be released in an updated story.
