ORLANDO | The Metropolitan Business Association (MBA) is teaming up with the CIA to help the intelligence agency foster relationships with Central Florida’s LGBT community.

Two CIA LGBT officers and the LGBT Community Outreach and Liaison Program Manager from the CIA’s Center for Mission Diversity and Inclusion, Michael Barber, will present at a forum to inform the community about the CIA’s mission and inclusive workplace.

“The CIA is pleased to work with MBA Orlando to organize a networking event to help us inform the community about our mission, debunk some of the myths, and spread the message about our inclusive and welcoming workplace,” Barber said in a media release.

The free event will be Thursday, Nov. 29, 6-8 p.m. at Orlando City Hall.
