Gay-for-Pay porn star given life sentence in murder trial

A former gay-for-pay porn star and popular Chicago-based DJ was sentenced to life in prison last month for the murder of Dennis Abrahamsen.

Jason Andrews, who performed as â┚¬Å”Addisonâ┚¬Â on SeanCody.com, pleaded guilty to the 2010 murder to avoid the death penalty, according to court records.

According to Assistant State Attorney Mike Halkitis, Andrews’ lawyer approached prosecutors with the deal.

“(Andrews) actually said, ‘I didn’t know Mr. Abrahamsen. I killed Mr. Abrahamsen. It was a terrible thing I did. I will never be able to live with myself,'” Halkitis told the Tampa Bay Times.

The murder occurred in New Port Richey in 2010 when Adams and Amanda Logue bludgeoned the tattoo parlor owner to death with a sledge hammer.

Police say the pair then stole $6,000 in cash, credit cards and a video camera. Logue had also worked as an adult performer under the name â┚¬Å”Sunny Dae,â┚¬Â and had been hired to work at a sex party at Abrahamsen's house. That's when police say the pair set up Abrahamsen.

Abrahamsen was found dead in May 2010 on a massage table in his house in New Port Richey. The 41-year-old biker had been stabbed and bludgeoned after hosting a sex party at his house the night before, authorities said.

While Logue was inside “servicing” Abrahamsen, Andrews waited outside, waiting for word to strike, reports say. The couple exchanged a flurry of text messages leading up to the attack.

“I’m so glad you’re really commited (sic) to this take. Keep eyes for a knife, etc for me!” Andrews wrote to Logue, records show.

One text allegedly from Logue said that she wanted to have sex with Andrews â┚¬Å”after we killâ┚¬Â Abrahamsen.

The two were arrested a few days after the murder on charges of stealing $67.97 worth of clothes from a Beall’s store in Largo. Both were released on bail after detectives questioned them about the murder.

Logue was arrested and charged with murder on May 27, 2010. Andrews was charged two months later when U.S. Marshals found him in Chattanooga, Tenn., were his brother and a friend had helped him line up a job at an upscale cigar lounge, reports show.

According to an affidavit, Logue would later deny that she had anything to do with the killing and claimed Andrews was the one who bludgeoned Abrahamsen.

Logue's murder trial is scheduled for May of this year. She is currently being held without bail in the Pasco County Jail.
