MBA to hire full-time executive director
The Metropolitan Business Association (MBA) will soon seek an executive director. MBA leadership will evaluate what is necessary to get an executive director in place starting the second quarter of this year. The position will be further defined as part of that process and the director's salary will be funded through MBA memberships.
UCF creates transgender support group
The University of Central Florida (UCF) has created a transgender support group. It meets Thursdays from 1:30-3 p.m. in the counseling building. In order to participate, individuals must sign up for a screening with facilitators at the UCF Counseling Center. UCF also offers a LGBTQ Grown and Empowerment group.
