AIDS Bike Ride breaks records
The third annual AIDS Bike Ride benefitting Trinity Charities raised $11,400 on Saturday, April 23. It was the most money raised in the history of the ride, which spans 12 miles along Legacy Trail. Organizers said 40 riders participated in the annual fundraiser.

ALSO Out forms parents group
The non-profit ALSO Out Youth organization is known for providing a safe place for LGBT teens. But now it is reaching out to parents of those teens. A new Parents Support Group meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of every month at the center, located at 1470 Boulevard of the Arts. Bowling in Boxers returns May 1
The 12th Annual Bowling in Boxers charity event returns to the AMF Gulf Gate Lanes on Sunday, May 1. Doors open at 7 p.m. and admission is $15, with proceeds benefitting ALSO Out Youth. There will also be a silent auction to raise additional funds. For details, call 941-951-2576.
